Just an update to the FDA issue for new hires. Some of the recent BI folks were called, asked if they would accept and FDA if they started very soon. Some, if not all said no. Many were called back in a day or two with a BI date exactly the same as the FDA BI date. Seems that the word is out on HKG, at the least, and the new hires are just as leery as the seniority holders now.

Has anyone heard of any calls going out for testing? Things seem to be very quiet...

I was wondering the same thing. I know of two folks who got the "possible interview" email a few weeks ago, and as far as I know they have not since been contacted regarding testing or interviews.

Fwiw. Pilots were tested last week. I *think* more are scheduled this week.
Probably cycling thru the list the SCP sent over in March. He said 120+ (do not remember the exact number quoted to me; this was discussed during the Mar Captain's Course). |

Stated approx 20 per month. It's been posted elsewhere. Always subject to change.
The number was for review to the Pass Board, then testing if approved by the Pass Board. This has all been posted before. It was stated the Pass Board reviews every two-three months. |

I haven't heard if they've been calling guys from the latest window or not. The ones I know who received the "possible interview" letters applied before this last window.
I was curious if those emails meant that you made it through the Pass board or not. I guess from what I read then that it's possible to have received a "possible interview" letter and not make it through the Pass board. |
Anyone know what the pass board is checking for when they are scrubbing the SCPs list?
