The FAA is going to love that. BTW, I thought you were exaggerating. Just looked at the final practice bid (which should be closest to next Monday's reality). Wow, new hires indeed to M57C. That's ****ing awesome! Good on them! |

They already think we are super-human and don't need the same rest that our pax brothers get. So, brand new 757 cargo-carved-out captains should be no big deal.

I think it went to May 2015 Date of Hire.
Delta has 2 year Captains on the MD-88 in NYC from what I've been told. By the time this trains out, he/she will be on property 3 years. Pre 9/11, upgrade times like this were more common. Besides, in 2005 when I got hired, Captain was going 4.5 years on the 727. Great to see this sort of movement! Great to see this sort of movement industry wide! Been a long time coming! |
Was the 5/15 DOH junior captain award an actual award, or a practice bid/snapshot thing before the final comes out?

They aren't newhires. They have been here for over 11 months.

Of course, this was still just a practice bid. Might it even go even more junior on the final bid? |
Make sure to get your shots before heading to Memphis?

Annoys the crap out of me when I fly with a guy that talks to me like I've never flown an airplane before. Guess my 11k hours and prior LCA job just don't count here. |
