You've all been exceedingly helpful and true through the years... Chances are we've rode each other's jumpseats and gouged each other's information for a long while. At the risk of sounding repetitive, I just wanted to save a little time and put some of your most recent advice...

I'm using the recommended TEXTs, but...
Do any of you recommend airlinetechprep (readysettakeoff.com) for study of the technical portion of the Day 1 Exams? Without being a member it seems they might have the right idea with the study guides and flashcards... If it helps at all, there is no expense (within reason) that I'm concerned about to prepare accordingly.

Is Luminosity the only/best way to prepare for the Cognitive Portion?

Emerald Coast Consulting

The guy who runs it posts on this board, and is on our seniority list.

Google it.

They didn't exist when I interviewed, but there a lots of folks on this board, and on our seniority list, that highly recommend them.

Good luck.

Emerald Coast.... I second it. As strong a recommendation as I could give any company or person. Maybe I should do the E.F. Hutton commercial for them haha.

Has anyone used centerline interview consulting? What's the best way to prep for the pilot job knowledge test?

I did not use centerline interview consulting so I can't speak for them. I used Emerald Coast and it's worth every penny and then some.

Many of us here are very thankful for the service Emerald Coast provides.

And some of us here are glad kind hearted flexes showed us mercy at 0430...

And its up to about 20% of the crew force now. I am continually humbled when folks still come up years later and say "thanks..."

Wasn't he another one of our Union Chairman that went straight to a kilt wearing Management position after his union job?

Our last Negotiating Committee Chairman resigned almost immediately after the Contact was signed. Should we be concerned that he'll be the next member of Management?

Sounds crazy!*? Enquiring minds want to know?
