I mean like if you become a check airman or something.

Same here. Great investment. But, no more sim eval correct?

Are people receiving calls for interviews today? Thanks.

jdoggins 05-16-2016 04:25 PM

I know they are interviewing this week, perhaps Monday/Tues or Tues/Weds. Hopefully more invites come out this week?

Attention Potential Interviewees and Recommenders/Sponsors...

I can't believe I have to say this but PLEASE don't show up to an airline pilot job interview unprepared!!! I recently ran into a former military friend in Memphis who was in town for the interview. After asking him about how he had prepped for the interview, I quickly figured out he was not ready to interview. It didn't turn out well for him.

DON'T show up unprepared! Ideally you should be ready to interview before you submit an application because the sequence of events can happen very quickly. Don't get caught off guard. This is a multi-million dollar over the life of a career job interview. Don't blow it!

I am not affiliated with Emerald Coast Interview Consultants but please call them or someone else who has experience with FedEx interviews and get prepped before you show up. These companies expect you to show up polished and ready as it shows intent and dedication to the job you're interviewing for.

Sponsors, reccomenders: please make sure your peeps are ready to interview. Your word is on the line as well.

I've done ECIC. What are some specific examples of "unprepared" in the case of your friend?

Correct, there is no more sim ride as part of the interview.

Question!

If interviews were yesterday and today, would that mean that the possibility for interview invites commence again tomorrow thru Friday?

I don't want to rat out my friend. I'm sure there's enough embarrassment going on there.

There's plenty of interview gouge and consultants out there to prepare you.

You should start phoning friends or people you know who went through the experience. They can be of great help.
