[QUOTE=Snaplock;2299192]I call B.S. on this. What about the F-16 dudes who have been hired at FedEx? I think that FedEx PROBABLY counts military trainers in that total time just fine as well. Until someone from FedEx says T-6 time doesn't count then I call b.s.

So I recently pursued the T-6 time issue through a friend of a friend at FedEx and I got this email today. Good luck to all this opens up an opportunity for.
Sir, I wanted to update you on this question/answer. *It looks like it brought about some conversation. *I have been informed that T6 time is now approved flight time. *I wanted to pass this along to you since this affected the answer I had provided to you previously. Good luck on your endeavors! Sincerely, Ren Autrey Unfortunately Ren has not been with us for several years. In regards to the requirements, they have changed since 2011. The T-38 will definitely apply towards the required time, however I will need to forward the issue to our FedEx rep to get a new answer regarding the T-6. On Mon, Aug 22, 2016 at 11:41 PM After this email I received a follow up from PC: We have received a response, unfortunately they are insisting on multi-engine aircraft only. |
Update, our IT department is too busy working on Amazon Killer. Endorsement changes delayed a week, probably Washington's Birthday now.

I find it a bit disconcerting that its anticipated commencement was going to be the 15th, and I still don't know what it is or how it works except for the info that has been posted here. Especially since it could have a large an impact on someone I am sponsoring/recommending/endorsing.... or whatever the current term is.

I also found this: I already asked about that old post specifically and here's what I got back from Pilot Credentials Support: Unfortunately Ren has not been with us for several years. Well, that seems a little ridiculous to say T-6 time is good and then a few years later to say that it isn't. What about the T-37 then? It's ME but not 12,500 GTOW. |

If you want to see if the time will count, contact FedEx directly. If you know someone who recently got hired, I'm sure they could get you a good contact number. You could also put in T-6 and T-37 time, just make sure you don't count it as ME > 12,500. The one thing that will ensure you never get hired is making false flight hour claims, not that you would. |

The source that said T-6 time counted was PC, not a source at FedEx. As Package stated, it is FedEx's sandbox, so they make the rules. I would say that T-37 time wouldn't count either since the GTOW < 12,500.

Thanks. I actually know several who have been hired who are under the stated minimums if you don't count T-6 or T-37 time. So, there's that. In my case I meet the minimums regardless, just trying to understand what the real answer is. Thanks for the integrity check. I don't know what I would have done if you didn't catch me on that. Or, perhaps if you go in and look at PC it automatically calculates what the GTOW is for you. There is no way to fudge it. |
