Anyone know if it's worth keeping an app on file w/o a PE after getting hired by a legacy? I have plenty of FedEx references, but unfortunately none with a PE to give (sad face). Thanks!

Absolutely. Know plenty hired without it.

If you currently drive CDL A for FEDEX ground and work for MAC at the same time, is there a higher chance of being hired?

What about working for a regional and drive CDL A for FedEx ground on the side?

Ground is a completely different animal. Not sure how that works. Just my opinion but you’d probably be better off trying to find part time work on the express side if you wanted a leg up.

On the application under flight time there is a box entitled 'current rating.' What are they asking for here?

Odds of getting on with no 121 time?

I would assume that they are asking for which aircraft you are current and qualified in. Just a guess though.

Decent-good chance. Lots of corporate guys have been hired in the last couple years.

So not past airliners, but what about endless piston a/c they had us list from decades ago? There are no currency requirements for a c172 so would I be current in it, yes?
