I know there was a blurb on the company website a few months back about upcoming hiring. But I haven't heard or seen anything since then. Does anyone have any solid info on what they are waiting for or any news on hiring? Thanks

short chat with a fleet captain

Well had a jumpseater who happened to be a fleet captain a couple days ago. So I had to engage and ask em about hiring.

Response was that weve been hiring internals at Fedex since Nov14 as well as draining the pool. The plan is to have 200 hires per year starting now for the next 10 years. The window for externals should be switched open within weeks. At least for the online application.....

Was also told the power of the recommendation is almost negligent anymore. What a shame we cant filter our own anymore.

Just curious, if the window is open, where would the job be listed on the website?

I am aware of pilot credentials, and have an updated profile. I am just wondering where the job announcement is, as I can not find one at fedex.com.
