Thanks CS.

Regardless of time on property, many feel the same way. The question is whether they have the resolve to actually vote NO.

The highest endorsement I've heard to date on the TA was yesterday:
"It's about what I expected, so I'm not surprised it sucks."

It reminds me of pilots who live in Memphis (I do). The best you'll ever hear is it's just OK. But it's better than commuting so I live with it.

That's what the TA is to YES voters. It's just OK, I'm underwhelmed overall they say, but I'm unsure the alternative will be any better. Might as well just pass it and move on.

I guess these guys/gals forgot what it's like to be new hires. You took a chance and probably a pay cut to come here. But you did what you thought was best for the long term. Same decision.

In the grand scheme of life, we alll want to be appreciated. This TA tells me the corporation doesn't "appreciate" me. What we do is hard, it takes years off our lives. I (we) should be compensated for our skills and sacrifice. This TA is an insult.

For those who think we are overpaid, I've been an instructor at FedEx and in the military and I can attest to the fact that our skills are unique and that not everyone is capable of flying the big iron.

I'm 90% in the MD right seat and I voted NO without hesitation!

Good to see you have the stones and experience to call it like it is. Not a person on the seniority list can say this is a great deal. The best they can say is it's a marginal improvement. Whoa! If that's the case where do I vote yes?

Sorry, ain't gonna happen.

I believe in the collective effort. I believe I/we should lead the industry by a HUGE margin. The rest of the airline pilot community says - RUFKM? the FDX guys killed it. That's where we need to be. No recruiting problem. No morale problem.

Instead I see the definition of marginal in this TA. I see my fellow pilots stepping all over each other to get the prize. Rushing for the exits and grabbing their luggage. They embrace the prize of a POS COLA, a diminishing value A plan, an insulting B plan bump, retirement incentives to "die trying", the green light for PBS implementation, Swiss cheese work rules, significant healthcare increases, and a ridiculous 6 year deaL. FDX does not value our contribution and neither does a strong percentage of our pilots. They want the meager pay bump and the signing bonus now. Living for the short term.

Do you smell what I smell?
Crap. Throw FDXLAG a life preserver cuz he's swimming in this cesspool of mediocrity. The funny thing is he's asking all of us to jump in and enjoy it with him. I think I'll pass.

Actually grd I have asked no one to vote any way. Just corrected misleading information. It is you no nazis that demand uniformity. Almost like you are afraid to hear dissenting opinions. If you do hear one you attack and search bid packs to find out identities while hiding behind new screen names.

Oh and if you smell something, try taking a shower.

The dissenting opinions you offer are a reflection of yourself. You clearly accept mediocrity and have low self-esteem based on how easily you are swayed by a TA that falls well short of our cornerstone objectives. You vigorously defend the company at every turn. It wouldn't surprise me if you are a QA, management in training sypathizer FO.

You're easily placated and somehow think that based on the number of your contrarian, antagonistic posts ... that you feel as if you are an authority on all aspects of the job. You attack anyone who makes a salient point.

Your problem is the inability to take it when it's thrown back at you. You're simply obnoxious static. Your true identity is irrelevant. You stand on a soap box and spout drivel time and time again.

Sit back and relax. There are plenty of guys/gals willing to do the heavy lifting. You're not prepared to have a grown up discussion in person. This forum is your personal nirvana.

You're a yes voter. Fine, so be it. I'm a no voter. Go your way and I'll go mine. It's been fun but you're definitely not worth my time.

Do your job. Make your vote. But don't act like the number of posts makes you invulnerable to criticism.

Dude please provide an example of me attacking anyone without, as in your case, being attacked unprovoked. Want to know why these site aren't a true measure of opinion on the TA? Dicks like you. You owe me an apology instead you keep going. And the rest of my union "brothers" who allow him to make this personal, FY I Think I'll Go Get Mine.

But before I do, Tony and I are having a discussion because he refuses to acknowledge that our pay rates averaging higher than anyone else's pay rates can be a definition of industry leading. I acknowledge that his king of the hill definition is one way of saying industry leading.

I think you've made it abundantly clear that if this TA is rejected, you will join the FYIGM camp, whatever that entails. You already made that clear before your conflict with GetRealDude.

To use someone's accusations on an anonymous forum, and the lack of other anonymous posters coming to your defense, as the reason and excuse for you to become a FYIGM type of guy, is actually quite lame. It's as if you're just setting it up so that those who know who you are, will be warned of who you will 'suddenly become' if the TA is to be rejected.

Please, don't blame this forum and anonymous posters for choosing to become a FYIGM kind of guy (whatever that means). Make your choice (if you are undecided), and own it.

See another example. I think this TA will get us more over the long run then waiting. But not cloud he thinks he will get more by waiting. So therefore I am greedy. Keep making it personal rather than debate. Tactical edits to ignore the parts you don't like. Tony you teach them well. Unity, it's not just a lanyard, oh wait maybe it is.

It's not personal, I don't care who you really are behind your screen name here. All I am saying is don't blame this forum for becoming something you say you are not already.

Then, to show how not to make it personal, you somehow involve TonyC in this thread, one of the few guys on here who is not anonymous. Hilarious.

Yawn, Cloud let me make this personal, you cloud do not debate what I say, you cloud impugn my motives. Apparently you feel that anyone who disagrees with you is not a good Union member. Including the majority of officers who voted to send this TA out for ratification.

Again I think this TA is good enough and the best we can do. You don't, OK by me. If it passes, if it fails life goes on. I guarantee I have turned down more free money than you over the last two years. You have a lot of nerve telling me I am greedy.
