Default FedEx Deviation Question

Simple question for one of you guys who deviates a lot (and nothing to do with the TA!).
How many days before a front end deadhead or after a back end deadhead can I travel? I'm looking at either coming in two days prior to scheduled front end deadhead or leaving two days after a backend deadhead (visiting family). Can I just schedule this as a deviation ticket. Thanks.

You can travel up to three days prior and three days after the beginning and end of your scheduled trip (doesn't even have to be a deadhead). Not 72 hours (as explained to me), but 3 days, so that can actually be a little more advantageous to you.

Should be very simple if you are just showing up to your destination a few days early, or leaving a few days later. A little more complicated if you are going elsewhere, then to start your scheduled deadhead. And yes, it's a deviation ticket.

Love that cowbell, one of my favorite SNL skits ever!

Great. I love it when a plan comes together. That is until crew skeds revises the trip. Thanks.

And for the record, it does not have to be a DH for you to get a ticket. Within three days of any event - trip, reserve, training, whatever. If you have bank money you are good. In your example if you wanted to stay longer visiting family and could stay until within three days of your next event you could do that.

Depends on your family of course.
