FDX 777 growth
Heard rumors of rapid growth in 777 program to the point of using some Miami sims for recurrent and initial. Anyone in schoolhouse hearing this?

"Heard" the same thing. Output that higher ups want is not attainable and needed to farm some of it out to MIA. Usual Emirates rumor (I have heard as little as 11 planes and as much as 15 idk) plus adding 2-3 LAN 777s from South America. "If you haven't heard a good rumor by 10:00 am... start one." I put little credence in these things. I am just wondering what will happen with this bid.
edit- I am not in the schoolhouse

If you bid it you will get it. Never have the FO positions been filled to 100%. I think the last bid was something like 8 of 20 filled. If you don't get it on a bid call M.P. in the bid dept and tell him how bad you want to come over...its been done before.

Sweet, let's move some of those 77FO's in the top 40% over to the left seat now that they can have some decent seniority...let the mid-pack guys move up a little

This was going around the sim building last weekend. The source was apparently involved with the contracts, schedules, money, etc. for the Miami sims. Ink was drying on the LAN contract. Three 777s confirmed for 2018 from LAN. What might show up from other sources was not discussed. Take that for what it's worth - another breathless sim building rumor. But reasonably credible I'd say.

I don’t mean to argue but my classmate bid EUR 757FO and was awarded it but was never sent in two years. Finally he just bid back to the 777. So I don’t think it’s that easy.

Is this also true for HKG?
