imagine FAR 117 disappearing
Imagine you are at a carrier that is covered by FAR 117.
Now imagine that FAR 117 is rescinded after you've gotten used to its rest provisions.
How would you feel? Would you expect different compensation in the aftermath of that decision? If so, how much, and in what direction? Why?
I hope this foments a good discussion. But I'll have to let the discussion ferment before I rejoin it. I'm beleaguered beyond belief.

PolicyWonk,
This anonymous forum is open to any pilot, from any airline. I think you have quite clearly established that you are not a FedEx pilot, but you keep posting on this sub-forum as if you were. It is kind of annoying. Why don't you go do that elsewhere? There are plenty of anonymous forums where you can have fun (if this is your idea of fun).

Now Cloud, you aren't being fair. I want to hear some more how I can fly draft while I'm on vacation!
And before anyone flames me, its a joke about a question policy asked.

I sure hope it's not MEMBrain/Fegelein having found access to a new username, again.

Well, now I am worried about FAR 117 and losing it, but since we don't have it, how will I feel if we get it? I'm beleaguered just thinking about it.

And you are directed to discuss how you would feel if we got it, then lost it. Though we really don't know how it would affect us if we ever got it, and we have no idea if we ever will. It's quite beleaguering to worry about losing what you never had. As if we didn't have enough to worry about

It's hard to read between the lines with him or her. But, it did make me think about how we've negotiated things in our CBA and now seem to be "rescinding" some.
