Have you contacted the Department of Justice to lodge an accusation against the current MEC?

Look folks, we'll know around Noon on the 20th, and it will be the first time the MEC (both the 10 and the 4), the Officers, the lawyers, or the NC knows how it is going. And then the current disunity will continue.

The MEC knows how many people have voted, just not which way.

It's not often we get e-mails from the union of Sunday -- I guess they thought it was important to hear this right away.

Insider trading is punishable by significant jail time also but that didn't hinder many. Somebody somewhere knows the running tally, We're all human and everybody has a secret they are dying to tell someone. Human nature. I would like to think our votes are sealed like Ed McMahon used to tell Carnac the Magnificent, "I hold in my hand the envelopes. As a child of four can plainly see, these envelopes have been hermetically sealed. They've been kept in a #2 mayonnaise jar on Funk and Wagnalls' back porch since noon today.." Somebody knows and how good are they at keeping a secret? This isn't the presidential election.

So AnyMouse....the poll started by Raptor on this site is a violation of Federal Law? YGTBSM

I live in the real world and expect the MEC and/or NC has a pretty good idea where and how this thing is going down - law or no law.

I wouldn't call the Department of Justice if the MEC handed me a roster and asked me to call everyone with their vote information. You are a certified idiot for suggesting such a thing. PS - I don't call the FAA when I see another crew member violate a FAR either. You are one messed up anonymous poster.

It's a 10% change in what most people were calling an insignificant signing bonus. My guess is, it will have zero impact on anyone's vote. If it does, whether they are a yes or no voter I'd seriously question their overall awareness of the entire value of the TA.
Maybe they read your posts on here hammering them for rounding errors and they just thought they'd try to get in front of the TonyC math express.

I guess I can now disregard anything Tony tells me!

Now, you may be asking why I would point out such a tiny error, and what difference does it make, anyway? Good question. It's not the few letters here or there on the post that matters. It's the lack of attention to detail and perhaps a deficit of grammatical acumen that matters.

Remember, this is the same guy who made a big deal over a trailing one versus a zero. Wow, you're right, you can't afford to trust anybody with such poor attention to detail.

But since you did raise the issue of math acumen, the credibility is again called into question when the same people who add 3 + 3 + 3 and come up with 8, and who can't multiply an hourly rate times 1,000, suddenly find a few thousand dollars in signing bonus. It must have been a slow Sunday on Kirby Pkwy.

Why are the NB FO, WB SO and NB SO bonuses all the same rate?

...while all the other seat positions are differentiated based on pay rates

The final higher bonus numbers were covered at the hub turn meetings this past week.

Actually, I was thinking more about the times you've pointed out a typo or other similar error of mine and used that to call my entire argument into question. Usually accompanied by a statement along the lines of "I hope you read the contract with more attention to detail."
