You'll have to use your personal-non company issued cellphone for company use or will you be able to put it on the iPad?

Finally getting rid of it. We're the only employee group using e-grid.

Goodbye egrid! Don't let the door kit you in the *ss on the way out!

It was a lousy system, glad to see it go. My guess is that even Management disliked it and wanted to see what we would "trade" to get rid of it?

Now that Contract Negotiations are over it no longer has value. Once the System gets over it's normal growing pains (that seems to come with EVERY software "security improvement"?) maybe we'll be better off.

I hope so!*?

This is GOOD thing. Levels the playing field for those of us who do not do this. One less tool in the Wolfpack toolshed!!!

My wife, who until recently worked for the company, used an egrid while working in both crew data and training scheduling. It was used by any employee needing outside access to the Fedex intranet (VPN.)

I was thinking the same thing! Even the earlier CAPCHA code was easy to rig since it stayed in the same place on the same page.

An old flame used one of these with her work in the telecommunications field and it was pretty neat but it WAS yet again another thing to keep up with.

I'm not quite sure how I'm going to use it: I really don't want any company stuff on my personal smartphone but I also don't want to keep up with this number thingy.

Just curious, but why would one care if they had this app on their personal phone?

With all the tracking and things they put into apps nowadays, I can see being creeped out by having to install s company app on our personal phone.

So they are going to issue us company phones for this, right?
