Totally false. All our 75s were sans winglets when purchased. One of the reasons we have stopped buying 75s, besides the less than stellar reliability of some of the older airframes, is that we have purchased almost every plane available, that has not been modded with winglets.

While there is an STC to add the winglets, there is currently no approved STC to remove them, as the mod makes extensive changes to the outer wing.
