Another Vac Slide question

Another Vac Slide question
I have Vacation the last week of May for 10 days (goes into June; 23May-1June). I want to use vacation for June so I bid a line that doesn't touch any vacation days. I won't slide or expand to knock out any May trips. I know you only have 1 slide per vacation. I can wait until I get my June regular line to do my slide to the right affecting June trips during the June Conflict/Input window, correct??

Good question and I have another similar: I already slid my April vac into May from Apr 25 to Apr 30. I have 7 vacation days from Apr 30 to May 6. I did not use any vacation during the Apr bid month. As I read the contract, I can still expand and use up to 42 hrs in the month of May for vacation, is this correct?
I know that if my already slid vacation days touch a trip in May it'll be removed for vacation. My question really is can I expand beyond whatever touches my vacation days and my guess is yes, up to 42 hrs total. Just looking for a confirmation guys... Thx!

I hesitate to answer yes because we all know what is clear to us, is just an interpretation away from a change by the company.
Saying that, it's been my experience, under the old contract (and not much changed in that section with this contract) that all one needs is one positive minute to take vacation. Once you can take vacation, you can do anything permitted regardless of deficit. Many people purposefully go into deficit to use "super seniority" for the MUV window to get better trips. But, if you come up on a vacation period with a negative amount of vacation left, you can't take vacation.

pretty sure slides have to happen in the month your vacation is actually in, expands can happen in both
that's how guys w/ 15 day blocks straddling the bid months expand left & right to knock out two complete bid months of flying
virtually no changes to Vacation in CBA 2015, so what worked in the past will work now. Only big change is VTO vacations more user friendly
