Literally, a day late and a dollar short.

More than a dollar. That guy has set a new standard of delusional self-justification for actions that could never possibly be excused. I'd say it's unbelievable, but smashing innocent people and destroying their businesses seems to have gained acceptance in some circles, so maybe he's just tapping into that. Was there a picture of him in 5th grade accompanying the letter?

Can we appeal to have him put on death row?

What's the big deal fellas, he said he was sorry and even wrote an apology letter.

Although I incurred the most serious injuries in the fracas, I took full responsibility and apologized to my fellow crew members in a letter that was published in the local newspaper. I derived no possible benefit from my conduct, which makes what I did a self-victimizing "crime" with no criminal intent.
That's gotta be the biggest rambling load of self delusion I think I've ever read. Wow.

Wow. Unbelievable delusion. As a non FedEx-er, I was unfamiliar with the specifics of the hijacking until someone shared the book with me a decade or so ago. Highly recommend it, the brutality of the attack will make your hair stand on end.

Notice he didn't mention the pilots he tried to kill in his narrative. He makes it sound like he was the only victim. I find it hard to believe his plea isn't made up by the Onion!
