What is going on at XO with the sale to VistaJet? Is there going to be direct integration for flight crews? The lie any time their lips are moving management at NJA are trying to say that VistaJet only bought XO for the certificate and are going to shut down the current operations to concentrate on the VistaJet model. As should be obvious- I don't trust their assessment at all.

That's what I think is going to happen...XO's CEO is leaving, making room for the transitional hatchet-man. What would be ironic about that is that's exactly how XO got its certificate in the first place...by buying out a local mom&pop operation and taking from it the AOC and leaving the rest to flounder.

Xojet wasn't technically bought by Vista Jet but by Vista Global Holdings a parent company. Considering Vista Global bought XoJet for over 10 million bucks I highly doubt they would simply come in and ax a well run flight department just for their operating certificate, we will continue to operate separately until further notice and business as usual. Someone from our upper management team is currently being groomed to take over as CEO in the very near future, I have an idea who it may be and is a great guy. I believe we will most likely get Vistas older hand me down Challengers and Globals as they get newer airframes according to their business model of operating newer aircraft.

Have you guys been given an explanation of why XOJET is being split into 2 separate entities as part of this acquisition? 1 that controls the physical assets (aircraft, parts, facilities) and 1 that controls the people & marketing?

I have a good friend of mine that I went to high school that works as an anyilist for Rhone capital in NYC, he was smart and went to a good business school. He just told me that Vista Global is looking to expand both Vista and XoJet separately for now due to the slightly different business models offered by both. They looked at combining the two operations but decided against it due to XoJet having a more defined and established customer base footprint in the United States. It would make no sense in alienating current XoJet clients in favor of Vista Jet, which is much smaller operation stateside . He couldn't get into too much detail other than that, but did say good things are coming down the pipeline in the future for both companies and the aviation tech company that also falls under the Vista Global umbrella. On a side note, I noticed a few Flexjet guys wanting to jump ship and coming to XoJet, so who knows.

Hopefully he's right. What's Rhone's involvement?
