Flexjet PBS schedules

They try to be very accommodating for requested days off if they're not informed at the last minute.
As far as PIC, I'm still not sure why that is such a confusing topic as far as logging PIC time.
Manipulating controls (pilot flying) doesn't make you PIC. That's a designated position of authority. At Flex, the pilot flying sits in the left seat and pilot monitoring sits in the right. However, that means the PIC may sit right seat as pilot monitoring but is still in charge of the flight. Doesn't matter if he/she are flying. We swap seats each day, but the PIC can log time as PIC on all legs. The FO cannot log PIC, just flight time.
When it comes to the type rating, everyone gets the same type and checkride.

Yeah coming from 121 world where the CA gets PIC qual’d with a slightly different checkride than an FO. So little confusing when both are typed as PIC but the CA (designated postion of authority) is the one logging the PIC. Makes sense…thanks for clearing that up!

As an SIC, I do also log SIC time, since I am a required crew member.
Everyone at a 121 is also PIC typed. It’s the same thing here. Your PIC ride (as an SIC) is “do you know the systems, can you fly the plane, and do you know enough to make a decision if the PIC is in the FBO and something happens regarding MX/MEL/WX.”
The upgrade checkride is the above, with “is the decision you’re making right now supported by the FOM?”
Same as 121.
