They're starting to release seatlocked Phenom PICs to DRL now so it's probably going to slow the flow of SICs moving up as quickly due to seniority. I don't know how they make the decisions on who to release vs not so I dont know how long that trend will continue. Id guess you could safely add a couple of months from where it has been to get a good idea of current times.

Yes. It is still around the 15 - 18 month mark. You can either estimate by running the names through LinkedIn and seeing when they were hired or the Cleveland crew will tell you if you ask or email. Phenom is 7 months, with Phenom FO's obviously finishing their 299 2 months quicker than Challenger/Praetor transitions because they don't need another type school at SIMCOM or CAE.

DRL
Reviving this older thread. I am trying to better understand DRL and it sounds fairly appealing.. Would it be common for the 3 captains to work 5 or 6 day rotations and in doing so the month is fully covered? Or would it be easier to have each just do a 10 day rotation? Also, what is the upgrade timeline looking like now? And is it something available to all pilots or is it only a select few who get to be part of DRL?
