Speaking of west coast, any west coast based pilots out there? I’m trying to figure out how much west coast flying I would do in a light jet. I live on the west coast and am tired of commuting to the east coast every single week.

Fractional flying is unpredictable. You go where the owners want to go. I myself a west coast person find myself flying the Florida to northeast corridor most. But I have been blessed with rotations that never went east of the rockies. I commuted for 15 years from SAN to IAH/ORD/EWR. Not having the stress of looking up loads and planning my 2-3 leg commute to work/home is pure gold.

any more news about hiring or interviews? getting worried my app was lost in the ether.

Is anyone getting an interview with around 2500TT. About 800 turbine, no turbine PIC, no internal rec and just 121 prior exp?

There are lots of applications in right now that have internal recommendations that they're trying to move through. It may be tough to get through the noise right now without at least an internal recommendation.

Anyone have an idea on how many pilots flex plans to hire for the rest of 2021?

I did recurrent in April and was told 130ish was the goal. We’ve had a lot of pilots retire in the last few months. On my fleet alone 12 guys retired in April/May.
