That is how most of us progress in the Army. I was on the OH-58D Helicopter for about 9 years before I went to airplanes. Helicopters are some of the most fun you will ever have in flying, but it is just not where I want to make a career. |

Many of the pilots I fly with at flex have a military aviation background. Many spent time in the 121 world and then came to fracs. I can't say I know anyone that came here directly... not saying they haven't. At your interview sure you will get a bit of the typical ILS, V1cut technical test but if you meet our mins you should already know how to fly. It's really about does this person exude the customer service personality that we need here and can I sit next to him/her for 6 to 7 days and not want to kill him. In my experience... the ex-rotor wing guys have fit the bill nicely and seem to be great sticks!!! Thank you for your service! JATAGA |

Looking for a little info. Does anyone know if E-mails or calls have started going out yet? Has anyone on here been contacted about an interview? Without internal recommendations I know I am a long shot, but fingers crossed.

I'm pretty sure that the interviews being conducted this Friday are folks that are off-the-street interviewees. Good luck!

Unfortunately, I was not selected for a new-hire slot, but it was a great interview experience! Very laid-back and professional, and I know I was lucky to even get an interview invitation. Best of luck to those who were selected, I know that Flexjet is a wonderful career opportunity! |

More recalls starting in August and most likely more thereafter if business stays the way it is. As far as new-hires at the first of the year, highly unlikely they've made it through the list if furloughees at that point.

I heard that the Flexjet furloughs were called in to reinterview and none of them were offered the job. Can anyone attest to this?
