Default OneSky (Flexjet/FlightOptions)

Does anyone have an update on the hiring and interview status? I applied a couple months back with an internal rec but have not heard anything. Also, I am curious will OneSky be the new name for Flexjet and FlightOptions? Thanks.

we're still hiring but things have slowed down a bit because of this union being voted in and it's "ramifications" and we don't have anymore scheduled deliveries till the 2nd half of 2016.

One Sky is the umbrella company for numerous Business around a dozen. so no it won't be renamed...but Flight Options and Flexjet will be called only Flexjet eventually

Thanks for the reply and information.
Would you happen to know if there has been any interviews conducted in the past three months or any calls going out?

yes, there have been (was told around 70 have been hired but but not sure how many have gone through/or are in training.) Though the training dept had slowed right now.

Actually, the reason we won't be getting any deliveries until the third quarter is we took early delivery of some 2016 airframes. Both Flexjet and Flight Options have quite a few uncrewed airplanes. We also have a steady stream of pilots leaving for airlines, other corporate jobs, and some retirements coming up. By no means a mass exodus, but there are pilots leaving. We should be hiring for the foreseeable future.

Thanks for the info and reply. Are pilots being hired for both sides or is everything being filled on the Flexjet side? As I understand correctly, there is only one HR, management and operations department now and when the merging of the two companies is complete Flexjet will be the name used for both companies? Thanks.

I used to work at FlexJet back in '98='99 timeframe, on the LR60, prior to getting hired at AA. I just saw this thread and have a few questions that maybe some of you can answer for me, since I have been out of the firing stuff for a while.
Can you give me some details on this "merger"?
What union was voted in?
What are the mins to get hired?
What planes are now in your fleet?

Thanks for the information. I have a son who is just starting the flying process and was trying to get more informed.
