Question Negotiating initial training cost w/ program?

Out of curiosity does anyone have tips for negotiating the cost down for an initial training program for either CAE or flight safety? I'm looking ata kingair 200 program for my personal use so i could bounce between some private operators willing to let me fly their airplane as long as I am formally trained. Would the 300 be better because of the type rating?

I've read through tom Clements' Kingair book and I guess he has the kingairacademy.

Yes, yes, yes, I know that i should NEVER fork over that kind of money out of my own pocket just to fly someone else' airplane, but its one of the few options i have. One of the operators hinted at reimbursement if i do well with them.
