Success

Didn't go there myself, but had 2 roommates attend after finishing school. Seemed to me like the program worked well as they are now both professional pilots. They flight instructed for awhile then took airline and charter jobs. Good multi building time during the program allows you to concentrate on filling the total time requirement relatively easy (e.g. flight instructing).

Their website has a boatload of success letters attached. They do what they do well, which is hurry people along to save time going to the airlines. If you want a more personal experience and more satisfying relationships with your instructors, FBO would be a better choice. I got 3 ratings from them (multi/instr/comm) and it was fast, efficient, and economical but not especially personal. It's a mill, not an FBO.

I was very disappointed with the quality of the ATP flight school. Four day ATP program turned into a one month nightmare. No one would call me back to schedule or commit to a time for flight training. Instructors are overloaded with students and overworked. When I finally cancelled –ATP had the nerve to charge me $350/hr for flight time when other schools charge $220/hr. Save your money and go elsewhere. Experience: Prior military Iraq veteran, fly 135 cargo, 2200 hrs, 1200 multi, 300 actual, CFI/CFII/MEI, and Jim Koziarski of ATP had the nerve to say that I lack experience. (Wow, isn't that why I'm at a training school?) They really made me feel like scum. If you think you are getting an edge on the regional airlines, you are in for a rude awakening. Go to an FBO where you get better training than this place.
