Default Multi-engine add on question

To get a commercial/instrument multi-engine add on rating, do you have to do the commercial maneuvers?(chandells and lazy eights, etc) I already have my SE instrument/commercial.
Thanks,
Joey

You never do chandelles/lazy eights for any ME rating. The only manuevers required are stalls, slow flight, & steep turns, the rest is single engine stuff and landings.

In addition to what rickair said, you'll have to do at least two approaches. One of those will be single-engine.

Check out the matrix at the front of a Commercial multi PTS. It will tell you exactly what you need to do.
