Anyone going/gone to National Pilot Academy?

Well first off in regards to Squawk5543’s comment…. What other options are there out there for aspiring pilots.....For a person that wants to become a pilot I suppose there is no other option… unless the MPD program out of New Mexico, with 250 hours, would be more to your liking. It is embarrassing that I could possibly be flying with someone so ignorant some day. I am glad that, in my time on this planet, I have learned to embrace people that have hade something to learn from me. After all these “ pilot factory” pilots will be the ones owning the skies someday and I hope that, in all the flying that we encounter, we never become as ignorant as some of the those flying now (as you have displayed). Oh Squawk5543, please guide me to the glorious path that you have approved, that will lead me to my career in aviation… I beg of you. As far as Brn2fly’s comment, I was wondering how you liked the program and how the graduates (if you know any) are fairing in the industry. Also I wanted to say hello to a future brother. Thx for your reply, Ryan Cross

I guess I am just tired of all the trash talking flowing to all the flight schools. I fly with a FBO regularly… after getting a price quote, I compared with my other options. I am spending about the same amount of money but it will take a greater amount of time than I can afford with my FBO. My only other option, that does not require a move, is NPA. In the end I will have the same hours and have instructed for most of them as well… It’s just faster with the school. Either way when I start at the airline, as a new-hire, I won’t expect to know anything. So when I am sitting in training at the airline next to a guy that went to a FBO and we are given a problem that neither of us has a clue how to answer, it won’t really matter where I went to school. All that matters is that I am there and ready to learn where to go. I did not mean to slam the military but honestly how often do you hear of a new-hire performing an accidental gear-up landing in a CRJ… Only this CRJ cost $285,000,000.00. (B1-B) Any way I stated that because I have no interest in military aviation and the time frame my FBO offers won’t work… so I arrived on a decision with NPA. Thanks to all of the replies. Sorry if I offended anyone and thanks for the advice.

I've flown with a few pilot factory guys who couldn't tell their head from their arse. Not saying you're one of those guys, but there are quite a few who belong nowhere near anything aviation.
