I'd say right around 3 months. Probably the most difficult rating memory wise (besides CFI). The oral will probably be the most difficult part. The flying is actually really fun once you get a system down. Enjoy!

3 months flying how often? How many hours did it take for you to complete instrument training?

3 months flying between 3-5 times per week. Part 141 and I got around 50 hours. I started around the end of March and was done 1 July.

Coulda been done quicker, coulda been done easier...but I'm happy.

at a 141 school I flew about 3-5 times a week, took about 2 months. Its the best way to go, especially if you do it during the summer when the weather is usually better. Study and know how to read approaches before you start and it will go much smoother. Good luck!

About a month, but like most...I was full time. Did mine in a multi. Hour wise, took 42. Definitely develop a flow...once you do all that rushing will calm down and you'll start feeling more comfortable with approaches. They are really a lot of fun...especially if your in actual IMC for your training.
