I did my CFI training at ATP, and I thought that it was a good choice. I was originally trained at Delta Connection Academy and it was really good there, but because of the price, I had to change schools. I believe that if you have a good instructor, that's all that matters. Coming from a part 141 school, I spend hours with my students on the ground, and some instructors at ATP don't like that because it makes them look bad. I don't care because my certificate is on the line so I spend on average 10-12 hours a day at the school mostly ground work.
