whats everyones opinion on hawaiian pilots? personally they shouldnt be allowed to fly because they can only train on islands and stuff and cant meet the FAR requirements that we have to meet for long cross countries... i say they are fake pilots

Dang, that's pretty harsh.

The only problem that I really have with places like allatps is that they don't really offer the student a diversity of experiences. They will go fly the same airplane doing the bare minimum and then teach it. In my opinion, it is too controlled of an environment. I think that for a pilot to gain real experience, they need to make their own experience and this is accomplished better through the fbo experience, in my opinion. Yes, it may take longer, but why not do it while in college or while working or something. Also, from guys I've flown with, it seems like it is more of a respected route to the airlines. Its a shame that the days of flyin checks, night cargo and other experience building avenues are over. I just hope having these inexperienced pilots in the cockpit of an airliner doesn't result in any fatalities in the future.

First off, this ain't a rap concert, use english. As far as your question goes, I would say it depends on what kind of flying that you did. I wouldn't say it would be very diverse in an atp seminole, with your instructor in the right seat in vmc. According to most, it's not the best on the "street", it may be ok in comparison to the other pilot factories but that's not saying much.
