Hey Vector,
Just trying to contact you on your offer.Maybe you have been out of town due to easter.

first off......how does a Cessna310 burn 15-20GPH????? not sure which model you own but the first and lowest engine model has 2 IO470's 240 HP.. A piper twin comanche probably the best twin time builder has 2 C172 engines, IO320's 160HP and burns around 16-18GPH total. maybe 15-20 GPH per side out of that thing. the one C310 i flew in burned 32GPH at 75% power. now Im sure we're gonna be cruising at 55% power but what could that possibly put us at 25-28GPH and thats if you have the early model 310?

I would jump on that if it were living in that area.

Hey everyone,
Sorry for the late update....I have been inundated with email regarding this opportunity. Well, the C310 prebuy inspection failed (miserably). The annual (prebuy) revealed corrosion on both main spar. Therefore, the plane will likely be totalled. Fortunately, this happened during the thorough prebuy inspect, so no money was lost on my end.

So, I'm back to the drawing board regarding time building. I will likely abandon my search for another aircraft, and likely just rent an a/c for 100+ hours. Good luck to everyone and thanks for replying.

Not to beat you down but your first post said you already owned the aircraft. Why?

I recently purchased a Cessna 310 for the purpose of building Multiengine time. I plan to build 200-300hr within the next 3-4 months. I am willing to split the time if you will buy the fuel. (15-20gal/hr)

The plane is nothing spectacular. She has a basic IFR package. Most important, she has 2 engines to build the ever important Multi-time. This is definately the cheapest way to buy multi-time anywhere.

Let me know if interested.

Wes

Quite different than waiting on a pre-buy to be done.

Sorry bud, my intentions were to offer an great deal others...not to **** anyone off. I suppose I failed to remember the "six P's" (proper planning prevents **** poor performance) :D

All kidding aside...you make it sound as though I lied about the purchase...simply put...I committed to purchase this a/c, and the deal fell through. Kinda like buying a house that fails a termite inspection before closing. Sorry if your disappointed...welcome to the world of aviation.

For all others...If another prospective plane comes along for purchase...the same offer stands...However, I'll be sure to include the all the disclaimers in the post.:D

Not disappointed, I've already built my time...however, I didn't go around and tell folks I worked for UPS after the job offer while I was waiting to start ground school. I don't think you were trying to deceive anyone since I didn't see you asking for money upfront. Like you said though, a little more detail would probably be a good thing in the future so as not to get the wrong rep in the SMALL world of aviation, bud.
