Default CFI renewal - help

My CFI is up for renewal and for that past few times I've done the Jepp VHS/DVD course. Now I'm thinking about either their online program or the one offered by American Flyers. Any suggestions?????

Thanks.

American Flyers works great. I bought the $100 renewal for life three renewals ago and have been using them ever since. They do try and have you renew your certificate through them which is a bit expensive. The last two renewals I have printed the course completion form, filled out the 8710 & gone to my local FSDO and had my new CFI issued for free.

Hey Jethro,

I'm partial to Gleim's CFI renewal course. Easier than AFlyers and you can complete the course in an afternoon. They'll process the paperwork for you too. http://www.gleim.com/aviation/firc3/

Hope all is well

I just finished the AOPA online FIRC, I took longer than one afternoon. You could probably finish in one day if you really got after it. $120 includes renewal, so it's about the same as Gleim w/ renewal.

I use this service and print it out and take it in to the FSDO also. Works great, Gleim good rep too.
