Costs aside: Purdue or ERAU?

Ah yes, gotta love Florida...Home to the newlyweds and the nearly-deads.
I forgot about the old blue hair's...I was referring to the white trash NASCAR girls; they're missing teeth too, and they look a lot better in tube tops.

Sooo many points to hit on. Purdue Vs. ERAU... cost is always a factor, don't kid yourself.
If you are going to double major don't waste your time on aviation. That being said I went to ERAU and I now live by Purdue. Both fine schools, both have great women (ie. Stetson, UF, FSU, and God bless midwestern women at Purdue and in the fine state of Indiana), and both have a lot to do. Neither one will get you to the airlines quicker, that is up to you my friend.
When I was hired at FedEx 4 years ago there were two less than 27 hired right after me. One, I believe, was 24. Don't ever let anyone tell you what you can and can't do. Work hard, be humble, and have fun. Good luck.

That old 727 sim is better than you think. It's the base of all the systems you'll learn in the future. Has anyone looped the sim during the Upset Recovery lesson? Up until my crew was in it, Ned didn't think anyone else has. It wasn't bad, we only lost about 8000-10000' from start to finish!!!
Looped?? Heck, we were doing split s's and tried a barrel roll, we did just about the whole aerobatic experience, but we had Joe, so he wasn't even in the sim while we did that lesson, i think he went and sat in his office for a while... and yeah, the 727 knowledge really helps with learning "newer" airplane systems. If you can learn those systems, and diagrams, then you can learn any other system nowadays...

Completely disregarding all fees, which one will give me better training, and faster route into a career as an airline pilot, Purdue or ERAU? I plan on getting all my pilot certificates and what-not, while having a double major in aeronautical engineering.
If anyone has attended these colleges for aviation, can you tell me about them? (For ERAU, I'd prefer to hear about the Arizona campus). And remember, I don't care about costs/fees right now.
Any and all information will/would be appreciated. Thanks!

I say ERAU hands down. I'm a Fall of '87 graduate; B.S. in Air Studies. Spent a few years in airport management, then left aviation totally. I wish that I hadn't.
At any rate, back to the topic.......there's something to be said when EVERYONE and I do mean EVERYONE looks up simultaneously when an airliner or any other type of jet takes off on 7L.
