So I've got my Type on the Bus but need to do a pro-check and also take off a circle to land restriction... anyone know a good place and a cheap place to do it?

thanks, actually got my answer.. PanAm in MSP does it for $900 or $3200 for the whole PC.. I'm going to look at the WIA program tomorrow and see about getting the tax payer to pay for it..

Nobody really cares if you have the circle to land restriction. Most airlines don't train circle to land in jets over 100,000#

I've got a $16K/mo job in India that does care actually.. Why? I agree... cause I'm not circling in 1000' or 3 miles vis, but it's the requirement that must be met. When I typed on the MD-11 at Gemini (Finnair actually) they told us they're going to do the circle so as not to hamstring us in case we needed the type rating later.. I laughed and said the same as you.. waste of time. I guess it was not.

CAE Denver...A320 Circling Restriction Removal...$600. In order to do a PC, you have to actually go through a program though, i.e. recurrent or upgrade training...
