Hi there I'll be in phoenix for a long week and I was wonder where can I go to get my commercial course.I meet all the requirements ( i have all the hours I need )and my instructor got a job in the east coast so we cant finish the license.any ideas?
I took the written and I passed so any kind of program that can be done in a week?

This place is in Kingman (about 2.5 hours from Phoenix).
2 day course. They can get you done.

If you have the flight experience requirements listed in 61.129 all you really need to do is find a CFI to give you three hours of training and sign you off. In the Phoenix area I recommend using XXX XXX as a DPE. He is fast and will usually let a lot of things slide as long as you don't mess up the the "big-ticket-kill-you-items".

The FAA is cracking down on DPEs.....I don't think that he would appreciate the above post.

I concur with the the previous post. I have been working with Mr. XXX for a few years now and I would classify him as one of the few good examiners whom actually cares about what the potential pilot candidate is learning according to PTS guidelines, instead of just waiting to get up on a soap box and begin preaching his/her own idiosyncrasies. I have also not know him to cut corners on safety or education.
