Contract for CFI training
Was wondering if there are companies out there that would pay for CFI training in exchange for "x" amount of time with the company after successful completion? A friend of mine would like to know, and I thought a while back I saw a similar thread, but was not able to find it.

Right now, I kind of doubt it.
American Flyers used to have an internship program...you had to have a PPL, you would get paid $1000/month, work as the school admin/front desk for 12 hours/day, six days a week, for one year. During that time you would also earn all of your ratings at no cost (IR, COMM, CFI, CFII). At the end of the year, you would transition to being a line instructor at the normal rate.

Sierra Academy in Atwater, CA used to offer such a thing a year and a half ago, don't know about now. Contact them and see what they say. They also can provide lodging on campus (i believe) for cheap to CFI's.
hope this will help
