Default Need Your Opinion

Hello Everyone,
Can anyone tell me which program the difference between the following programs:

(1) Business Jet Direct Route

(2) Jet Orientation

(3) Advance Airline Route

Also, if someone would like to fly with a major commercial airline in the future, which program is suited better for them interms of training to fly comercial airliners? Thanks in advance for your response(s).

Not sure what that is suppose to mean but anyway, what schools are offering these programs? How much do they cost?

Frankly, if you spend money on any of the above you are wasting your money...and none of the above will help you get to a major any quicker. You don't need to spend money on stupid pipe-dream programs like these to get a job. Everyone here will tell you the same thing too. Don't do it. Just get all your stuff and do some instructing. Sooner or later we will start hiring again.

We see this a lot around here. Thanks for doing the research at least. Yes listen to the above post, and do more research and you may find very similar opinions. Right now all I can say is, don't even think about it.

Let the employer pay for everything. Spend your money on your certificates and ratings.

The first time I flew a jet was as a RJ captain. Came over from turbo-prop captain.

4) The do it on your own at an FBO route.

Should save you a bundle on your training and get you there just the same.

These sorts of programs will take your money, and leave with a lot of debt and no job prospects.

As a civilian pilot in the US, you will typically need these qualifications to get a job (but no one is hiring right now anyway)...

Bussiness Jet: 2500 hours total time, 500 hours turbine, type rating in the aircraft in question.

Major Airline: 5000 hours total time, 1000+ hours turbine PIC, airline experience prefered.

Pilots in the US are not hired based on their training or school, they are hired based on their flight experience.

Are you speaking about FlightSafety?? If so, you don't pay for the Business Jet Direct route, they pay you.. Also, for the Airline route, you only sometimes pay a fraction of the cost, I heard the airline that is hiring you pays the other. Jet orientation is paid for by you.

For a corporate gig do you have to pay for your own type rating? I would imagine getting a type rating in any corporate aircraft would be expensive.
