Hi,
I am 20, and on my way to becoming a pilot. I do not have any qualifications, and just making choices between flight schools at the moment
I live in Montreal (moved here from Toronto) and would like to stay in the city. There are several flight schools on the list and I hope you can help me choose one.
All aviation schools give 200 flying hours, PPL, Commercial, Multi Engine, IFR and Night. All prices are in Canadian Dollars.
1. Dorval Aviation.
They offer 100% flexible training that can span over several years, completely at your pace (if you want to work and pay it off).
It costs 62,000 and I find it extremely expensive.
2. Ecole de Pilotage Saint Hubert:
The program is full time 9 to 12 months

38,000
3. Aéroclub De Montréal
The program is 1 year.
52,000
the guy also said that once I come I can get a job at air canada and with airlines, which I found extremely unbelievable, since from what I heard I need more qualifications + minimum of 1000 hours. He had think accent so he might have meant something else, but it came off very sucpicious.
4. Cargair Ltée
41,000
1 full year.
I have not visited the schools and will be doing it shortly.
Would appreciate your help and advice.

Any pilot will tell you this, get a college degree.
Seneca College: Aviation & Flight Technology
Get all of the licenses but end up with a college degree as well. What can be better than that?
