Has anyone had experience with this place? I'm thinking about doing some more training, and am looking into places like this. Any info/help is appreciated.

They will get you done. I didn't think it was all that bad. They slam you through. Be prepared to study all day and night and fly 2-3 times a day. I passed both my CFI and commercial in about 9 days. I saw a 1 person walk out because of the pressure. you can PM me if you want more info.

Please tell me why its better to read a training manual over 3 month then 9 days. When I did Instrument at my flight academy you would do ground school for 1 hour a day then fly, and spent the rest of the time going to bars and happy hours. MAI you spend all day and doing ground and your night studying in your hotel.

If you do a 40 hour class over 3 months does that make you better then the guy who did the same 40 hour class in a week? I understand not all people have the desire and motivation. I guess you must be one of them. I supposed you preferred to be hitting happy hour and the bars all night. the course isn't for everyone, you have to come in knowing your information. Ask the owner he will tell you that Riddle and Comair academy guys were his worst students and failed more the the 61 FBO guys.

I can't image you retained the same information over 3 months. I read the same FOI and Airplane Flying Handbook that you read. The only difference is I read it over 9 days and had a lot of support around the clock that could help explained the information. I've done flight training both ways. Until you you have experience both types of training your opinion doesn't carry much weight in my book.
