But seriously, it depends on what you're looking for in a college... primarily how big a school, and what you want to study. All I can speak for personally is the Colorado Springs area, with Colorado College and UCCS (both good schools from what I've heard). There are a couple of decent flight schools at Colorado Springs (COS), and Meadowlake (00V), all nearby. There are also a lot of great soaring opportunities all around C-Springs if you're into that... Hope that helps?

Colorado is a great place to fly. You learn to fly under all kinds of weather. I've lived in CO for 6 years, and I am personally surprised that there aren't so many college aviation programs here.
Metropolitan State College of Denver has an excellent aviation program from what I hear. However, they don't have their own facility for the flight training; you have to choose your own local flight school to get trained at. Students who major in aviation program there seem to take their flight lessons at flight schools located at KBJC, KAPA, and KFTG.
Aims Community College also has a great aviation program. They have their own flight department for flight training. Here, you do not have to go find your own flight school.
I hope you find this information helpful.
