Default Flight Bag Suggestions

I have had plenty of flight bags and I have never been happy with any of them. Right now I am using a large briefcase similar to a chart bag. It is a little beat up and I don't like the color but it has convinced me that I want a chart case because I like the rigid structure.

I am looking at the Sporty's XL Rolling Chart Case, but before I buy it I want to make sure I am not missing other options. My budget is $300, so I am not able to afford the high end models. Does anyone know anything similar to the Sporty's one or any that are better?

I thought you were planning on going into the military? If so, save your money and ride out the rest of your time with your present bag (color and all), as none of those flight bags will do you much good in the training command.

I have little faith that I am going anytime soon. My flight physical paper work has gone through a bureaucratic black hole. It was supposed to take 10 days to grade and I am going on 38 with no end in sight. My recruiter says I will be lucky to get an OTS date before the end of summer, so in the meantime I am instructing and ferrying aircraft.

I also plan on doing a lot of flying at base flight clubs in the future too.
