Landing Currency
#1
I just recently got my tailwheel, and was curious how others interpreted the regs.
If you perform three takeoffs and landings at night, to a full stop of course in a TAILWHEEL aircraft, are you "current" for the next 90 days to fly tricycle gear aircraft of the same Cat and Class.
We're talking passenger carrying currency of course.

You should be good.
61.57 LDG currency specifies that the 3 LDGs be made in category, class, and type (if applicable). So tailwheel landings in a ASEL count for ANY ASEL, assuming no type.
There is an additional blurb stating that for currency in a taildragger, the aforementioned landings had to be in a taildragger. But there is no such blurb for tricycle gear, so it defaults back to cat, class, and type.
