Question USCIS-Approved Flight Schools (Los Angeles)?

Hello every one!

I'm hoping that someone here will be able to help me out a little in regards to finding a flight school for my needs, that is also USCIS approved (Allowing international students). I'm currently a citizen in Denmark, but I am trying to find a school in the US (Los Angeles), due to my social life (long story).

I have no previous training in aviation or the likes, but I have always had the dream of becoming a pilot - but I have only recently started looking 'seriously' into the career. I'm currently 21 years old, and in the middle of another (completely unrelated) degree, 1st semester.

I'm hoping to one day fly passenger airlines for bigger companies, that preferably fly between the US and Europe (as I have my family in Denmark still, this would be advantageous to me for the possibility of cheaper flights there)

So yeah, I'm hoping that you guys can help me out. Here's what I have so far:
  • I love the aspect of being a pilot, and I have read the realistic critical views on the job as well, such as the "lack of pilots" is a myth, you're unlikely to get all your flight hours from school (requiring you to do cargo-flight or instructing gigs).
  • I have found a few schools that are USCIS-Approved, those being ATP and Americanflyers, but I've also read a lot of bad things about both on your forums here. Which is actually why I choose to make this very thread.
  • I am ready to pay the costs to become a pilot, in fact, becoming a pilot will cost me more (20-70% more - based off the prices I've seen so far on american schools) in Denmark than it will in the US - so price is actually not that big of a deal for me.
  • I saw another school called Justice Aviation, which seemed to be pretty good from reviews and such, but they're sadly not USCIS-approved.

So what I'm hoping that you guys can help me with is; finding a "decent" (or better I guess) school that is USCIS approved. I hope I'm not asking too much, or being too demanding, I just really am hoping to one day becoming a pilot, soaring the skies!

PS: I'm not 100% in on all the abbreviation-lingo, so if you use any advanced abbreviations, please help me out.. Thanks in advance, to anyone who can help!

Edit: If all else fails, is it still worth it going with Americanflyers or ATP? As quite frankly, I'm certain their schools will be better than none at all, or am I wrong?
