How much are your student loan payments?
Just out of curiosity, how much have you spent on flight training, and what is your min payment and interest rate?
University 4 year degree. 60k debt. Got lucky when I consolidated, rates were at record lows. 1.5% interest. Payments are about 200$ a month on a graduated plan, and will max out at about 300$

Right now my statement says a little over $100K at 8.5% variable rate and my monthly is about $970 per month. That's just from CAPT.
I've spent about $3K while at CAPT flying outside of the program to build time.
I spent about $12K for my private pilot and time building flying after private.
So bottom line, I spent a lot of money and go nowhere for a flying job. But the flying sure was fun!
