Changing paths- need advice

I know there are tons of threads about "considering a career" but I need more help, so.

I am 20 years old, completed 2 years of college (business related courses), and am really thinking about switching over to an aviation program at another college.I am currently taking general business-related courses, and I sit in class thinking [delete] "This stuff is so boring!" I have done some research and found a college locally that has aviation programs. Also, I have not yet started to take any flight training. I know this will set me behind a little bit, but I think I am willing to take the risk to become a pilot. so my questions are:

1. Should you get an aviation degree? How would a Corporate and General Aviation degree weigh to others?
2. I know the aviation industry is very competitive, but Is it almost nearly impossible to get a well-paying, stable job as most people on this site make it seem to be?
3. Are the beginning stages of the career as a pilot "that miserable?"
4. Does anyone have experience with Metro state college of Denver?

Any other advice/stories/information would be greatly appreciated!

Why are you special and what "more" do you need exactly? Not trying to be difficult, but give a reason why you cannot benefit from the hundreds of prior posts and threads from other users who asked the same questions you ask almost to word, and why the answers they received were not adequate for you as well? Be smart and use all the prior threads. MANY have trod the path you are asking about and for many decades.

This subject comes up like clockwork at APC every other week. I found the a few threads using the search window at the upper left (hint):

Flight School vs Aviation degree
Aviation management as a backup degree
Aviation management 2
Aviation degree vs Humanities degree
Does anyone have an Aviation degree

2. I know the aviation industry is very competitive, but Is it almost nearly impossible to get a well-paying, stable job as most people on this site make it seem to be?

Read a-plenty about it here :

4. Does anyone have experience with Metro state college of Denver?
Here's a thread. I am sure there are many more posts and threads using search at the upper left. Good luck.

Metro State college

The "tons" of other threads address these questions ad nauseum. Use the search feature.

I don't. Sorry.
