I am not real sure where to post this, so I will start it here for now. I was wondering if anyone could breakdown all of the cost of ownership of a Pitts S1S and a Pitts S2B? I was hoping to get some factual figures from as many people as I could. This is just for later down the road, but I really enjoy doing aerobatics and really really love the Pitts aircraft. I thought a Pitts S2B would be a good way to maybe make a few extra bucks along the way one day, but I just don't know what insurance would run. If anyone could give me a breakdown of all the costs then that would be great. I probably wouldn't get a loan for one, I would be paying up front, so I don't need to figure a payment in there for the aircraft. Just fuel, hangar(I know this varies location to location), insurance, maintenance, oil, annual inspection, 100 hour inspection(if used for training assuming an S2B was purchased), and everything else in between. I know I am asking a lot, I just was wanting to get started on knowing if this is just a dream, or with a little time I could make it a reality. Thanks for any help and information.
