Don't fly at any speed on final that you aren't comfortable with. no matter if you are in a 777 or 172, you are the PIC. Safe operation of the aircraft comes donw to your decisions. No doubt they will more than likely ask you to go fast, but don't let them force you to do it if it makes you too uncomfortable. You CAN'T get in trouble for refusing an instruction you think is unsafe, but you will get in to big trouble if you over run an 8,000ft runway. Sure they will act like diva's and act like you just shot their kitten in the head with a canon if you tell them you are unable to comply, but they can not ding you for that, they will just send you on your way.
