Default Boeing 737 type rating

Looking for a Boeing 737 type rating soon.....

Cheapest?
Fastest?
Best all around (price/product/course)?
Ones to stay away from?

Thoughts from you all? Those that have done it or researched it lately???

There are thousands of recommendations on this forum. I'm just looking for current info and help.

I sent out emails today and waiting for replies from....
Higher Power
Crew Pilot Training
Pan Am
Flight Training International

I've heard good things about Higher Power. My university had some sort of training agreement with them, but I didn't do the course myself. I guess that's where a lot of the Southwest people go, if that's why you're getting it.

High Power worked well for me. Fast & easy program to work, may not be the cheapest but a great bunch of folks to work and study with. I would highly recommend them.

If SWA is the place you want to be you can't beat the contacts and classmates you meet at Higher Power. Great folks and great training environment. ...and you get a hat!

Default Cpt

I used Crew Pilot Training, I highly recommend them. Sim sessions at the SWA training center and my instructor was retired SWA. All the folks at CPT are great and they make sure you get a great training experience. $7300 for the -300 version; 10 days from start to finish for the "accelerated course".
