Default Flight School in NORCAL

Hello,

What are some good reasonably priced Flight Schools for all ratings in Northen California? There is an ATP in Sacramento and plenty of FBO's out here. Has anyone had any experience with and of the flight schools and how they liked it, if it worked etc...

I would stay away from the FBOs if you can. ATP in SAC EXECUTIVE would be my pick. I did my flying out of Travis AFB, CA aero club...

ATPs rep is top-notch. You won't find a better school for the price...

Ya, I hear ATP is great, and I know there is a ton of multi time done there, but it seems so expensive and to take out a loan on it nearly doubles the price. Any other options?

Its not expensive for the area. Check the prices at Blue Ridge Aviation in Vacaville - you'll run to ATP. BTW - Blue Ridge is run by a *********. He treats the military well but his own employees and other he tells you what you want to hear and thats changes faster than the wind...

He had his land developed buddies tried to get the aero club closed and training moved to his FBO.

Stick with ATP - get your ratings and start earning a living and paying off those loans.

Good luck to you...

How did you hear about that thing in vacaville, that guy sounds kind of crazy. When did you get in to ATP, after your pvt? I cant get over that they raised there price about $7,000!

I was stationed at Travis and use to fly over Vacaville / land / BS with people I knew there...

I didn't go thru ATP but knew plenty of folks that did. I wish I could go but still have a few years left on my military commitment.
