I'm assuming you had a commercial SEL Instrument rated?

Correct. And I ended up with ATP ME with Commercial SE privileges.

Question regarding ME certificates:

When I originally received my certificate, I had a centerline thrust restriction because I flew the T-38. Since, I've got about 500hrs of ME time in a centerline thrust restricted airplane (the A-10). I'm looking to complete the ATP soon.

Will the ME time allow me to complete the ATP and finish with a non-restricted ME certificate?
