If you are flying a c172 or pa28, there is a line of rivets or a hinge(pa28) that runs front to back on the cowling. Line it up parallel with the centerline and you'll have perfect no crab landings. Works from the right or left seat.

I'm sorry, but did I miss something? Is there a reason for your rude behavior? I simply came onto this forum to ask for advice and you seem to hold some sort of a grudge against me and want to pick a fight with me for some strange reason.
And just what do you mean by "I know whats going to happen"? Thats a pretty awful thing to imply if it means what I think it means.

It doesn't mean what you think it means; no one wishes harm to a fellow pilot.
That said, I am not responsible for your feelings or how you choose to feel about anything, least of all what someone you don't know says to you in an anonymous forum, but by way of an olive branch I'll explain...
I just found it ironic that you would refer to an HSI as "that damned" (thing), as in my world an HSI is a luxury, much less a G1000 (or any glass panel ftm). To me, you come across in your posts as a spoiled wanna-be instructor, which IF TRUE (<--- note the qualifier) makes you dangerous...esp. considering that you are supposedly going to get your initial rating as a double I. I truly hope you are as proficient with the 5 T's as you claim to be, because that HSI won't always be there.
It's just one person's opinion. Don't be a Nancy; just forget it and move on.

You misinterpreted what I meant by "damn HSI". What I meant to convey was simply my frustration about not being able to see it clearly. That's all.
I work hard at 2 jobs so I can afford to fly. When I got my private pilot license 13 years ago I was a poor college student. The only thing that's changed between then and now is I'm not in college anymore.
